Lovely pub and beer garden! Staff here are very friendly indeed, but not too much. Looked after my friends and I really well and also dog friendly..... So that was nice! Lamb kebab starter, sausage and mash with onion gravy was sublime and banoffee for dessert. Prices are kind of average these days for this type of pub and food, but well worth it and would love to go back again one day! May bring the doggo for a pint in the garden though before I travel home! 👍🍻👍 I've been back a few times since and still really enjoy it...... Especially with the doggo and a pint! 👍😎👍

Lovely pub to walk to, but wasn’t the warmest of pubs to visit. Lots of locals! Food was great, and good portion size, but a little expensive.

Sunday carvery food was disappointing. The chicken option was a just about adequate chicken breast and all of the food was Luke warm at best. Gravy very thin and greasy. Dessert menu very basic. Staff weren't overly friendly apart from our waitress. Overall rather disappointing.

Lovely roast, generous meat carvery, great cauliflower cheese. Friendly staff, food could have done with being hotter, roast potatoes not crispy but overall it was a nice meal would return

A great reception the moment we walked in the door. The Unicorn offers a good choice of draught beers and wines, and a menu broad enough to find something everyone would like. Staff are very accommodating, and keen to please. Very understanding too, when we had to delay our reservation because we got lost walking there. Meal sizes are large. No room for dessert. We left early, but the pub was filling up nicely when we left early evening. Good atmosphere.

A great little pub. Staff were friendly & helpful. Great ambiance & a beautiful little restaurant area. The food was absolutely delicious & we ate there two nights a row. If I was ever in the area again I’d definitely go there again & I’d highly recommend this place to anyone. Sorry I didn’t get many pictures I was enjoying myself to much.

We booked a table here for dinner, food was awesome and really tasty. Prices were about on par with other restaurants (as opposed to pubs) but for what you get I think it was worth it! Pub itself was well presented, and the staff behind bar greeted us with a smile. Unfortunately it seems they had a busy day and the desert choices after meal were 'limited' (there was only two choices). I guess I shouldn't be eating desert anyway...!! Look forward to visiting again at some point in the future.

Beautifully presented pub restaurant Food doesn’t get much better than that served at the Unicorn Pub and Restaurant. I love to take a snap or 50 of pubs; at the Unicorn it was the food that stood out. Inside, the interior is fresh with a mix of modern bright trinkets and farming equipment (just to make you aware you are in a country pub). The restaurant is humble, beaming from the light pouring in though it’s small windows. It is separate, but open to the bar area. The staff were humble, professional, chatty and courteous. The menu consists of a focussed range of traditional foods presented in their menu and on their specials board. Food arrived quickly and delivered accurately. Another great pub experience, The Unicorn crafts traditional foods beautifully in a refreshingly modern setting.

A really pleasant place and excellent cuisine! Friendly staff, tasty dishes, however the desserts are way too sweet.
